Flashing/Metal Work

IMG_7177

True quality can be found in the details. Wilson’s Roofing has a team of professionally trained metal workers to ensure every aspect of your job is done with the utmost quality. This extends to all aspects of metal work including flashings. Flashing is not only important visually, but also protects your roof from leaks.

What’s Flashing? Flashing is the metal sections found on areas of your roof such as chimneys, skylights and valleys. These are areas that will have a higher volume of water run-off and are susceptible to more wear over time. In these areas, we pay special attention to ensure they not only look great, but will protect your home from leaks year after year.

Attic Insulation

Attic insulation is crucial for several reasons. It significantly improves energy efficiency by reducing heat transfer between your home and the outside environment. Proper insulation keeps your home warmer in winter and cooler in summer, minimizing the workload on your heating and cooling systems, and ultimately lowering energy bills. It also enhances overall comfort by maintaining a consistent temperature throughout the house, eliminating cold spots and drafts. Additionally, attic insulation contributes to the durability of your home by preventing moisture buildup and potential damage caused by condensation. It also helps in soundproofing, reducing noise from outside sources. Investing in attic insulation is a smart decision that pays off in terms of savings, comfort, and the longevity of your home.
